  • designing their own cars using gears and motors;
  • investigating the human body systems and becoming a doctor for a day;
  • learning the concepts of Newton's Law of Motion, friction, and jet propulsion to build rockets;
  • studying nature and looking at how leaves breath;

  • learning about forces such as compression and tension to build a bridge;
  • investigating diseases to find the source of the Cholera Conundrum;
  • solving scientific mysteries using chromatography;
  • exploring aerodynamics to engineer their own planes;
  • and more!

Senior Science & Engineering (Grade 7/8)
Time: 9:00am to 4:00pm || Course Fee: $295 || Before and After-Care Available
New technological marvels are discovered every day! Senior campers will:

  • use the engineering design process and work in teams to build a functional electrical dance pad;

1. Online: Registration is $295/student. All registration is to be completed online using our online system. Your spot will be reserved upon receipt of payment.
2. After-Camp Care: We offer extended care from 5:00 to 6:00pm for an additional $30 for the entire week.

Daily Schedule

A typical day consists of 2 to 4 experiments and activities. There are two 15-minute breaks (morning and afternoon) and lunch is between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm.

Lunch is not provided, and will be held indoors. We recommend using ice packs for your child's lunch, as we do not have the facilities to refrigerate lunches.

Allergies are an increasing concern, particularly nut allergies. We do implement a nut-safe lunch policy for the safety of our campers. We ask that you pack nut-free lunches for all campers.

Before and After Camp Care

All of our camps are one week in length. Camp runs Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm, with free before- and after-camp care. Drop-off is from 8:00am to 9:00am, and pick-up is between 4:00pm and 5:00pm.

Extended after-care from 5:00 pm to 6:00pm is available for a fee of $30 per week. We ask parents to arrive at extended after-care on time.

Before- and after-camp care is supervised, unscheduled time. Science magazines, books, puzzles, and games are available for campers.

Financial Assistance

We offer Financial Assistance for Science Engagement Programs, when funding is available. Applications for financial assistance are due on February 11, 2019.
